“To Václav Klaus” is a festschrift published on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Václav Klaus, the President of the Czech Republic. It consists of more than 50 essays written by authors from 15 countries around the world – distinguished politicians, economists, philosophers, representatives of significant think tanks and companies, and other personalities of public life and science.

They write not only about Václav Klaus but above all about subjects and thoughts they share with him. Each of the authors know Václav Klaus in person and they wrote their essays exclusively for this title.

“To Václav Klaus” is a unique collection of essays on European integration, European currency, political and economical development of the Czech Republic and Europe, climatic changes, defence of liberty and capitalism and other issues of the present and future.
